Planted by Nate Hume

$50.00

planted flickers between common architectural profiles and materials by embedding them together in non-conventional ways. plaster, concrete, pigment, and plastic drift into each other to form patchy relationships instead of their usually clearly defined edges and reveals. roof-lines invert and molding details scale to the size of the whole as the form contains familiar profiles forming an unfamiliar whole. the heaviest material rises upward in the larger mass which then sits atop a small precarious anchor questioning assumptions about structure and weight.
